Europejskie Forum Nowych Idei Czy kapitalizm niszczy demokrację?

20110930, 0820

Perspektywa biznesu”. Honorowym patronatem objęli wydarzenie Prezydent RP, Bronisław Komorowski, Prezydent Rady Europejskiej, Herman van Rompuy i Jerzy Buzek, Szef Parlamentu Europejskiego. Ekstraklasa koszykarek: Wisła faworytem, Lotos i CCC z aspiracjami

September 27th, 2011

Pozyskała węgierską środkową Petrę Ujhelyi, obwodowe: Serbkę Anę Dabovic i Belgijkę Anke de Mondt. Jedyna strata to odejście białoruskiej środkowej Jeleny Leuczanki.
Ekipa z Dolnego Śląska pozyskała Litwinkę Gintare Petronyte, Greczynkę, najlepszą zawodniczkę ME 2009 r. Evanthię Maltsi, Czarnogórzankę Ivę Perovanovic, amerykańską skrzydłową Megan Frazee i Agatę Gajdę. Ta ostatnia wraca do Polkowic z Torunia. Perovanovic dopiero odbudowuje formę po kontuzji doznanej w lipcu w Łodzi w ostatnim dniu ME.
Do play off awansuje osiem najlepszych drużyn z pierwszego etapu rozgrywek. Ćwierćfinały rozegrane zostaną do dwóch zwycięstw, półfinały do trzech, a finał do czterech wygranych.

Papież podczas modlitwy we Fryburgu /AFP

Istnieją nadal wojny, terror, głód i choroby, skrajna nędza i represje bez litości.
Papież apelował do młodzieży, by zaangażowała swój talent dla Królestwa Bożego.

14th Episode Survivor Tocantins

May 17th, 2009

Survivor Tocantins Episode 14

In tonight’s Realty TV show of Survivor Tocantins, we find the final four celebrating “high five” and then begin to worry about jury votes, as it was on the castaway’s mind.  Stephen knows that his vote for Coach will hurt him, where JT is still in good with Coach on the jury since JT voted for Erinn instead of Coach.  Stephen voted that way because he thought about “who can I beat at the end.”

Forza camp, day 37, find new Tree Mail which was a plastic spider and a scroll.  It read, “Do huge spiders make you worry?  If you get spun out in the web, you could get stuck in the jury.”

Immunity Challenge:  Castaways are to race through a spider shaped obstacle course to three different stations.  Each person will retrieve a bag of puzzle pieces from each station.  Once all three bags are collected, they are to solve a web shaped puzzle.  First person to get it right wins immunity, and guaranteed a one in three shot of winning this game.  Loose this challenge, and be guaranteed a one in three shot of going home.

JT wins immunity, (back to back), and is safe at Tribal Council.  Erinn was a close 2nd place, but now realizes she will probably be voted out.

Back at Forza camp, Taj speaks privately to us and says Erinn will be voted out.  Erinn keeps thinking about how to play the game now with JT and Stephen.  She tells the boys that Taj would be favored by the jury.

At Tribal Council, JT had individual immunity, so it really came down to either Taj or Erinn.  The discussion with Jeff did not clearly reveal which way the guys would vote.  Jeff tallied up the votes and announced the results.  The 13th person voted out and the 6th member of the Jury became Taj.

Taj said, “It’s day 37, I got blind-sided by my Jalapal tribe members that have been looking out for me from day one.  And for them to blind-side me, it blew my mind.  So it’s going to be really hard to choose who is worthy of a million dollars.  But either way, if Erinn finds a way to get to the end, she got my vote.”

At Forza camp, night 37, JT said that was the toughest Tribal Council yet.  Erinn agreed with JT.  JT said he really did not want to vote out Taj.  But he said they made a decision based upon how easy it would be to win at the next challenge against Erinn.

On day 38, JT said that this is the biggest challenge of his life.  “One of us (referring to himself and Stephen) is gonna win that million dollars.  And they’re gonna have to decide between me and you.”

Tree Mail read that the castaways were to follow the map across the river and there they will find the torches of their fallen comrades.  They are to burn a part of them at the end of the trail, paying them respect as each one had a part in getting them to this point in the game.  Then they are to proceed to their final challenge.

So all of this resulted in the big, final Immunity Challenge.  For the last time, Jeff said immunity is back up for grabs.  Each castaway will place a ball down a shoot where it will spiral down until at the end the ball must be caught and placed back in the shoot.  Every few minutes, another ball will be added.  The balls will alternate, left and then right.  It will become more difficult to tell which shoot it will drop out of.  If at any point, one of the balls hits the ground, then that contestant is out of the challenge.  The last person to keep all of their balls in play, wins immunity.  To make it more fun, one hand will be tied behind the back.

JT ends up winning immunity for the 3rd time in a row, and has gone as far as he can go in this game.  JT now is the one who decides at Tribal Council who goes home, Stephen or Erinn.  The remaining castaway will sit next to JT, where the jury will decide who wins the one million dollars and the title of Sole Survivor.

Tribal Council:  Discussion with Jeff as to who JT would pick, based upon jury votes at the end.  JT said he was nervous, and was still thinking about the vote.  But in the end, Jeff reviewed his vote and said the 14th person voted out, and the 7th and final member of the jury was Erinn.

Erinn said, “I was a little bit surprised, but I think like deep down I definitely knew that was decision that JT was going to make.  And I’m really proud of myself for going as far as I have come.  It’s really been life changing, and I’m glad I was able to stick around as long as I did.”

Day 39 at camp, Stephen said “we’re freaking here.”  “I feel really great,” said JT.  Stephen tells JT that they will be friends for life.  At the Tree Mail, a huge breakfast was left for the two remaining castaways.

Tribal Council:  Both castaways had an opportunity to address the jury and convince them to give the million dollars to them.  Then each jury member had the opportunity to address or ask a question of JT and Stephen.  Then they voted for who wins the game.  This Realty TV show then was cut (edited) for the votes to be read live in New York City, in front of a live audience.  Jeff read off the votes, and said the winner of Survivor Tocantins is James “J.T.” Thomas, Jr.  For only the second time in the history of Survivor, all votes went to the very popular JT.

After the commercial break, Jeff asked JT why are you crying?  What is going on?  JT said, “I’m very happy obviously, I just created one of the best friends I probably will ever have, Stephen, and his family.  And my parents are crying . . . so I can’t help it.  I’m happy, probably the happiest I’ve ever been in my whole life, obviously.”

Later, Jeff announced the results of the Sprint popularity contest, when the viewers could vote for who they like the most.  The winner of this contest would receive a prize of $100,000.  Jeff said it came down to three top castaways, which were Sierra, Taj, and JT.  The winner was JT, which put his total winnings up to $1.1 million dollars.

Survivor Tocantins 13th Episode

The Realty TV show of Survivor Tocantins started out tonight at the Forza Camp, night number 33.  Coach says he is in “shock.”  JT then informs Coach that Debbie wanted them to write down Coach at Tribal Council.  Coach says “I can’t grasp that,” as he stares at the ground while stroking his beard.  JT then said, “Well, we thought if we told you about it beforehand, you wouldn’t believe us.”  Coach then thanked everyone for saving him.

Day 44, JT tells us that he is ready to send Coach to Exile Island to ‘test” him.  He is telling us in his private interview, that he is ready to send Coach home at the next Tribal Council.

Challenge:  The final five castaways will race through a maze, (from the air, it spells Survivor).  Then, they must build a pole long enough to retrieve a sandbag.  Swing the sandbag in an attempt to knock over three targets, raising a flag.  First castaway to raise the flag, wins reward.  They will also be running the entire challenge with their feet shackled together.  The winner of this challenge will be taken on an overnight reward.  The winner will leave camp, and be taken to the Governor’s Retreat where they will enjoy a bed, a shower, and a feast!  The winner will send one person to Exile Island.

JT took the lead.  Coach decided to just follow JT through the maze.  In the end, JT wins.  He sends Coach to Exile Island, after first asking for volunteers.  JT chooses to take Stephen with him to the reward.  But, before Coach departs, Erinn decides to tell Coach that he is trying to be a martyr.  This brought out a discussion, which JT says later will only hurt Erinn for speaking out.  JT says “people are so dumb in this game.  I mean, they talk way too much.  It’s going to hurt Erinn, and not me.”

Back at camp, the girls have a nice chat while taking a swim in the sun.  Erinn tells Taj she regrets criticizing Coach, as it may cause her to go home next.  Taj tells Erinn to not worry about it.  Both girls secretly believe they will be in the final three with Stephen and JT.  But we all know from watching this show every week that the only way Erinn can make the final three is to win the individual immunity necklace over Taj.

Out at Exile Island, we find Coach again on an “ego” trip.  But, we do have to admire his positive attitude towards life, and towards this game.

JT and Stephen are put on a private plane and taken to the retreat.  Both the guys are impressed with their transportation.  When they arrived, they were shocked when they saw themselves in the bathroom mirror.  Both couldn’t wait to take turns taking a shower.  They then put on their bathrobes and were taken to an incredible feast.

Immunity Challenge:  Castaways are to use their arms to brace themselves between two walls, while the feet are positioned on very narrow foot holds.  Every 15 minutes, move to an even smaller foot hold.  And, castaways will be doing this barefooted.  When the 3rd and final foot hold is reached, stay there as long as possible.  Last person left wins immunity and is guaranteed a one in four shot of winning this game.

Erinn drops out first, while attempting to reach the 3rd foot hold.  Stephen drops out next, and then Taj.  It was down to Coach and JT battling it out.  Coach finally steps down and collapses.  He said his back gave out.  Coach tells Jeff to please don’t bring out medical.  JT wins the individual immunity necklace.

At Forza Camp, day 36, it starts to rain.  JT gets congratulated for his win.  Erinn says Coach has been walking around Camp the whole time, as if his back is now just fine.  She suspects that Coach was faking it.

Tribal Council:  Erinn was asked about her comments to Coach before his leaving for Exile.  Coach then gave his response, saying it was not as bad as others had said.  After the votes, Jeff tallied them up.  The 12th person voted out and the 5th member of the Jury was Coach.  Coach said it was an honor, “thank you.”  This next week will be the season finale for the realty TV show of Survivor Tocantins.  The show will run for two hours, have three tribal councils, and a follow-up live hour of their “reunion.”

Soccer Coach Benjamin Voted Off

May 14th, 2009

Goodbye Coach!

The 12th person voted out and the 5th member of the Jury was the 37 year old Soccer Coach, Benjamin, from Bolivar, Mo.  Coach said it was an honor, “thank you.”

At the end of the show, Coach said, “There was some sadness tonight as I left.  I cannot imagine why someone would want to keep Erinn over me, in the warrior alliance.  But obviously somebody turned.  Judging by their reactions, it was Stephen the wizard.  It definitely was not the white wizard.  He was the evil wizard in the end.  It’s a travesty, death before dishonor.  And I did not dishonor myself.  I feel good about how I played the game.”

12th Episode Survivor Tocantins

May 7th, 2009

Survivor Tocantins 12th Episode

The Realty TV show Survivor Tocantins starts out at Forza Camp, Night 30, where they are discussing how glad the drama is gone by voting off Sierra!  Coach tells us Erinn and Taj took a cowardly way out and voted for two people who didn’t deserve to be voted for, (Stephen and Debbie).  “It was preposterous.”  Coach says he is pissed, when he spoke to Debbie privately, about her name being written down.  Debbie later tells us that Coach doesn’t let things go without a complete, utter dialog as to why.  “It gets so old.”

At Forza Camp, Day 31, Debbie tells us it is not good to be attached to Coach because he is a downer.  And, Coach has not been doing much around camp for awhile.  JT is thinking Debbie is a more of a “loose cannon” than he originally thought.  “Debbie may be up to no good around here.”  Stephen says, “Debbie is a very strategic player.”  And, she worries Stephen.

Survivor Auction:  Each castaway has 500 U.S. dollars.  Bidding will be in $20 increments.  Castaways cannot share money, and cannot share food.  First item was a big bowl of French Fries with dip.  It was sold to Debbie for $120.  Next item was chicken, with garlic bread, and a glass of red wine.  Coach won the bidding at $320.  Next item remained covered up.  JT won the bid at $160 and discovered he won Nachos.  JT through up his hands and said “yes.”  Next item remained covered.  Stephen won the bid at $100.  Stephen won chicken hearts, a delicacy in Brazil.

Next item to bid on was a Samsung cellular phone by Sprint.  Jeff said the phone can bring your love from home.  Loaded on the phone are video messages from your loved ones.  Jeff said that castaways can pool their money for this bidding.  The group started giving Taj their money (JT and Debbie) because they knew Taj had a baby at home.  She won the bid at $20.00.  Taj cried when she viewed it.  It said that Eddie will see you back at camp.  The choice is to take Eddie with her to Exile Island, and everyone will get a loved one back at camp, or, to just leave Eddie at camp for herself.  So Taj said yes to Exile Island.  And, to the surprise of the group, Jeff said that was the last item and Survivor Auction was now over.

So Taj enjoyed a private reunion with her loved one on Exile Island, and her husband said she looks great and sexy, and has lost weight.  The rest of the castaways enjoyed their loved ones back at camp.  It was a very emotional experience for all of them.

Challenge for Immunity:  Contestants make their way through a series of obstacles.  Dig their way under a log, go across a beam while keeping their balance, and then under a rope crawl.  At the other end is a field where they will find 10 spinning math symbols.  Memorize the sequence of the symbols, than make their way back through the obstacle course where they will find a board to write down the sequence of math symbols to solve the math equation.  First person to get all the symbols right, and the correct math answer to the calculation, wins immunity and is guaranteed a one in five shot of winning the million bucks.

Stephen wins immunity, so after 33 days, one of the other tribe members will be going home.  Stephen was the only contestant that did not have to go back and re-examine the symbols.  Jeff asked Stephen about this, who said, “I made each symbol into a number.  I made ‘plus’ as 1, divided by 4, times 3, and I know the brain can remember 7 digit numbers, cause that’s why phone numbers are 7 digits.  So I divided it into 2 numbers, and just remembered those 2 numbers.”  (Everyone looked puzzled by Stephen’s explanation.)

At Tribal Council, Jeff put Coach on the spot by asking him to explain how each remaining contestant is in his words, was the best remaining “warrior”.  Coach didn’t like being singled out, but remained cool about it.  Everyone voted secretly and Jeff tallied up the votes.  The 11th person voted out and the 4th member of the Jury was Debbie.  Poor Debbie was completely blind-sided.  So this concluded this week’s Realty TV show of Survivor Tocantins.

See You Debbie

Tribal Council Blind-Sided Another Castaway!

The 46 year old middle school principal Debbie, from Auburn, Alabama, was blind-sided at Tribal Council.  She was the 11th person voted out, and joins the Jury as the 4th member.

Debbie told us afterwards, “I’m really the girlie girl. I’ve eaten live fish, slept in the freezing cold, and just everything that I endured I’m so proud of myself.  And I know it was a hard decision for them to make, voting me off tonight.  I don’t hold any grudges.  This is a game and you got to play it the best.  I’m anxious to sit on the Jury and see what goes down.”

11th Episode Survivor Tocantins

April 30th, 2009

Survivor Tocantins 11th Episode

The Realty TV show of Survivor Tocantins tonight started out with Sierra telling us she totally thought she was going home after Tribal Council (instead Tyson was voted off).  Sierra said it was crazy and she could not have asked for a better Tribal.

At Forza camp, day 28, Debbie is figuring out what her exact, next move will be.  She said, “kind of like a snake.”  She told Coach she was still upset over the blind-side last night at Tribal.  She proposes to Coach an Alliance with her, Coach, Sierra, and Erinn.  Otherwise, the other tribe will take out all of their people from their old tribe, leaving Coach and Debbie as “sitting ducks,” and with no leverage.  So the plan is to pull all the old Timbira Tribe members back together into an Alliance, and gain control again.

Food Competition:  The goal is to see how attuned the castaways are with the rest of the tribe.  Jeff will read a series of questions, and each person answers these questions in private.  Jeff will then tally the results, and each castaway must then guess what the group said.  Each time a person gets an answer correct, they get to chop on another tribe member’s rope.  When a castaway’s rope has been chopped 3 times, they are then out of the challenge.

The winner will be taken to a natural spring, and will get to be with a local family for a home cooked traditional Brazilian feast.  Also, the winner gets to pick who goes to Exile Island.

Stephen wins reward.  He chose Erinn to go to Exile Island for strategic reasons.  His alliance with JT, Taj, and Erinn still wants to keep Exile Island under their raps.  Then Stephen chose JT and Taj to go with him on the reward.  Coach could see through them and knew that group was tight, and was leaving Coach on the outside.

Stephen, JT, and Taj went on the food reward together.  They were sent to a Brazilian farm, where they were greeted by a father and a son.  They were escorted to the kitchen where they sat down to eat a home cooked feast.  Afterwards, they were taken down to a local spring.  The castaways had a nice swim and then spoke about strategy.  They believe Debbie should be the one who goes next.

Erinn arrived at Exile Island and checked for any new clues to a new hidden immunity idol.  But there just was not one there.  She could not get a fire started before the rain came.  She had no food, no water, and no warmth.  So she was absolutely miserable.

Back at camp, Coach had a private conversation with JT, who agreed to vote out Sierra.  Coach believes JT is honest with him.

Immunity Challenge:  Each castaway tosses a graveling hook, in an attempt to retrieve a bag.  The first 3 people to retrieve all 3 bags move on to the final round.  The final round is to navigate a ball through a table maze.  If the ball falls in a whole, then that person has to start over.  First person to get their ball into a finish net, wins immunity, and a guaranteed one in six shot to win this game and the million dollars that goes with it.

Debbie, Coach, and JT all moved on to the final round.  JT was out to a quick start, but lost his ball in the hole.  Debbie was going backwards.  Coach was taking it slow and cautious.  Coach ends up winning immunity.

Coach thinks he is locked in with an Alliance of himself, JT, Stephen, and Debbie.  Coach therefore says he feels very secure in his place in the game.  And, it is a good safety blanket to have the immunity idol.

Back at camp, Sierra was told that Coach and Debbie are saying that Sierra approached them about forming an Alliance.  Sierra got angry, and said that it is a lie.  She waited for those 2 to return to camp and confronted them in front of the tribe.  Coach stood there and said he has never lied.  But privately, Stephen and JT now have their doubts and want to vote out Debbie and leave Sierra loyal to themselves.  But keeping Sierra means more drama in the camp, so she might be the wise choice to vote out.

At Tribal Council, there was more drama between Sierra, Coach, and Debbie.  Taj said the day at camp was like a TV soap drama.  But in the end, Sierra was voted off and becomes the 3rd Jury member for this episode of the realty TV show Survivor.
