Survivor Tocantins 11th Episode
The Realty TV show of Survivor Tocantins tonight started out with Sierra telling us she totally thought she was going home after Tribal Council (instead Tyson was voted off). Sierra said it was crazy and she could not have asked for a better Tribal.
At Forza camp, day 28, Debbie is figuring out what her exact, next move will be. She said, “kind of like a snake.” She told Coach she was still upset over the blind-side last night at Tribal. She proposes to Coach an Alliance with her, Coach, Sierra, and Erinn. Otherwise, the other tribe will take out all of their people from their old tribe, leaving Coach and Debbie as “sitting ducks,” and with no leverage. So the plan is to pull all the old Timbira Tribe members back together into an Alliance, and gain control again.
Food Competition: The goal is to see how attuned the castaways are with the rest of the tribe. Jeff will read a series of questions, and each person answers these questions in private. Jeff will then tally the results, and each castaway must then guess what the group said. Each time a person gets an answer correct, they get to chop on another tribe member’s rope. When a castaway’s rope has been chopped 3 times, they are then out of the challenge.
The winner will be taken to a natural spring, and will get to be with a local family for a home cooked traditional Brazilian feast. Also, the winner gets to pick who goes to Exile Island.
Stephen wins reward. He chose Erinn to go to Exile Island for strategic reasons. His alliance with JT, Taj, and Erinn still wants to keep Exile Island under their raps. Then Stephen chose JT and Taj to go with him on the reward. Coach could see through them and knew that group was tight, and was leaving Coach on the outside.
Stephen, JT, and Taj went on the food reward together. They were sent to a Brazilian farm, where they were greeted by a father and a son. They were escorted to the kitchen where they sat down to eat a home cooked feast. Afterwards, they were taken down to a local spring. The castaways had a nice swim and then spoke about strategy. They believe Debbie should be the one who goes next.
Erinn arrived at Exile Island and checked for any new clues to a new hidden immunity idol. But there just was not one there. She could not get a fire started before the rain came. She had no food, no water, and no warmth. So she was absolutely miserable.
Back at camp, Coach had a private conversation with JT, who agreed to vote out Sierra. Coach believes JT is honest with him.
Immunity Challenge: Each castaway tosses a graveling hook, in an attempt to retrieve a bag. The first 3 people to retrieve all 3 bags move on to the final round. The final round is to navigate a ball through a table maze. If the ball falls in a whole, then that person has to start over. First person to get their ball into a finish net, wins immunity, and a guaranteed one in six shot to win this game and the million dollars that goes with it.
Debbie, Coach, and JT all moved on to the final round. JT was out to a quick start, but lost his ball in the hole. Debbie was going backwards. Coach was taking it slow and cautious. Coach ends up winning immunity.
Coach thinks he is locked in with an Alliance of himself, JT, Stephen, and Debbie. Coach therefore says he feels very secure in his place in the game. And, it is a good safety blanket to have the immunity idol.
Back at camp, Sierra was told that Coach and Debbie are saying that Sierra approached them about forming an Alliance. Sierra got angry, and said that it is a lie. She waited for those 2 to return to camp and confronted them in front of the tribe. Coach stood there and said he has never lied. But privately, Stephen and JT now have their doubts and want to vote out Debbie and leave Sierra loyal to themselves. But keeping Sierra means more drama in the camp, so she might be the wise choice to vote out.
At Tribal Council, there was more drama between Sierra, Coach, and Debbie. Taj said the day at camp was like a TV soap drama. But in the end, Sierra was voted off and becomes the 3rd Jury member for this episode of the realty TV show Survivor.
