Voted Off Third Castaway
Thursday, February 26th, 2009Our 1st Sergeant Jerry Is Voted Off
The 49 years old Jerry, from Rock Hill, South Carolina (1st Sergeant in the U.S. Army) is the third castaway to be voited off this season’s Survior Tocantins.
Jerry had been feeling sick for the last few days, and thinks it maybe was the beans or something he was eating that was causing his stomach to hurt real bad. But, he doesn’t want to show any weakness to his tribe, and he wanted to be viewed as one of the stronger ones.
But it was too hard to hide this illness from his castaways, as his performance in the challenge was proof to his tribe’s members that he was truly sick. Also evidence to his tribe was his laying down and resting, while not eating any beans and only a little bit of rice.
So Jerry ended up getting his whole tribe voting him off, unknown to him at Tribal Counsil. But he also realized this was a strong possiblity because of his sickness. We wish him well, and hope he now gets proper medical treatment.

He likes being part of a team, so he will feel right at home being a tribe member. Having been raised on a chicken farm in South Carolina in a family with 10 children, he has developed skills in motivating people to get involved in daily chores. Hopefully, he won’t be too bossy or else his fellow castaways will boot him off.
